As the marketplace changed, so did GAU, and in 2002 created a fully integrated Trading Group which encompasses every major product group plus a host of business support services.
This means that not only are we focused on getting the product to our members at a competitive price, we work with our suppliers to develop effective sell through to the garages and on to the end user.
Our policy of supporting tier 1 suppliers of OE / matched quality parts has enabled us to maximise the opportunities presented by Block Exemption Regulations since 2002. New regulations were introduced on 1st June 2010 which will help us defend the indepenedent aftermarket well into the future. Furthermore our central bureau facility means that GROUPAUTO is unique in this industry in guaranteeing to pay our suppliers.
